Friendship Center
The Friendship Center, located within the Crystal Community Center at 4800 Douglas Drive North, extends a special welcome to the 55+ population! We are dedicated to helping you live a purposeful life! Have a look at our rich variety of programming opportunities to help you pursue your interests, cultivate friendships, and meet your educational desires. We invite you to use us as a recreation resource designed with you in mind - come participate in our diverse and inclusive special events and multi-faceted programming. We offer a large gathering room complete with a book and puzzle library for your intellectual stimulation, an attached billiards room, and additional space of all sizes for special events. Beyond the walls of the Community Center, explore the abundant city parks and inter-organizational partnerships for outdoor enthusiasts. Let us enhance your quality of life with a warm and welcoming atmosphere full of others, like you, looking for a way to give your life meaning after retirement.
Memberships
The membership to the Crystal Friendship Center is open to individuals age 55 and better for a fee of $12 for Crystal residents and $19 for non-residents per year (Beginning in 2013) which allows the member to:

participate in and receive discounts for center activities and receive the Prime Time News - a quarterly newsletter with advance notice of trips, classes, special events, entertainment and parties
Please note the Prime Time News may be purchased at the Community Center front desk for 50 cents a copy for non-members.
Advisory Committee
The Seniors Advisory Committee helps plan programs and is responsible for interpretation of and advocacy for the Crystal Senior Center's programs.
