Park Projects

In 2017, the City of Crystal reviewed all of its parks, trails and natural areas as part of a Park System Master Plan process. This planning process provided a framework to guide the city in locating facilities, establishing priorities and funding future improvements. The goal of the master plan was to ensure the needs of residents meet current and future demand.

Nearby Regional Parks

In addition to the many park offerings within Crystal, residents have access to regional parks that are a short drive or bike ride away. Regional parks are located in high-quality, natural resource settings that adjoin lakes, rivers or other water bodies. Regional parks and trails draw visitors from across the metro area and beyond.
Crystal residents are fortunate to have one such regional park nearby. French Regional Park in Plymouth is located on Medicine Lake and is operated by Three Rivers Park District. The park district is updating the master plan for this park, and are looking for feedback from you. Learn more here.
