In 2017, the City of Crystal reviewed its parks, trails and natural areas as part of a Park System Master Plan process. This planning process included a robust public process and resulted in a framework to guide the city in locating facilities, establishing priorities and funding future improvements. The goal of the master plan was to ensure the needs of residents meet current and future demands.
We also value community input as projects move from concepts in the master plan to construction plans when funding becomes available. The input we received as past projects were developed was instrumental as final designs were completed. The list below has information on projects that have recently been completed, will be completed soon, or are being planned in the next year or so.
